JOB DESCRIPTION
- Large-scale administration of Desktop Linux based on Ubuntu LTSR versions
- Interoperability of Linux clients with Microsoft-based Authentication and Application environment
- Building and Running up-to-date internal Ubuntu repository, including security patching
- Level-3 support for in-depth troubleshooting
- Collaborate and co-development with other department through open-source platform
- Automation of testing, building and release process via scripts and automation tools.
- Ensure bugfixes, feature releases are completed on time and with good quality
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Linux Systems administration for Ubuntu and RHEL, in-depth knowledge in the area of:
- Authentication and Authorization via Microsoft Active Directory
- Encryption technologies (Hard Disk, certificates and PKI based)
- Large-scale system management (e.g Satellite, RHEL or landscape), Ansible configuration management will be highly advantageous
- Shell scripting and Debian package building/maintenance
2. Familiar in working or leading development using modern software development framework
- Git repository
- Python and/or Shell scripting
- Jenkins continuous integration
- Agile development via scrums and sprints
3. Communication and Collaboration
- Strong English language in both written and speaking
- Personal effectiveness in on-time delivery
- Active communicator
